Domaine Cros de la Mure is a quietly legendary domain located in the tiny village of Derboux near Mondragon in the central Southern Rhone. The domaine is well known among small quality obsessed producers in the region for the fanatical approach taken by it’s proprietor Eric Michel and his passionate dedication to ideals of tradition and terroir expressiveness in each vineyard parcel that he farms. He is sought out for his sage wisdom by young vignerons who wish to take their connection with the history of the regions viticultural practices. That obssesion with capturing the purest essence of the particular site has led Eric down the path of severely limited yields.
